Gentlemen & Ladies,

I need some advice to ensure that my sub is set to it's optimum potential.

It's a 300watt ELS sub and really packs a punch.

Unlike my B&W AS1 sub which is really easy to set up, this has some additional configurations.

What I have done is this, with the automatic calibration:

1. Set volume to 3/4

2. Set Low Filter to 60Hz (the highest) - set to highest so amp decides the crossover frequency

3. Set Hi Filter to 120Hz (the highest) - set to highest so amp decides the crossover frequency

4. Set Phase to 0

Audyssey settings:

The subwoofer is set at -15db (I have changed this to -10) & a LF of 120Hz (I have changed this to 100Hz).

Speakers are set at 'Full Band' - equivalent to 'Large'. I have changed these to 80Hz.

Thank you.

I have my Epos Els similarly set up to you , vol. at 3/4, execpt I have the low crossover set at it's lowest i.e. 20Hz. on the sub.

On the reciever it's set at 60Hz.

So the sub handles everything from 20Hz-60Hz.

I adjust the Sub volume via reciever remote control as to what's needed. More bass when playing dance music or classical. Less bass for Movies and TV.

I am 110% happy with this set up.
