Isn't "Electrocompaniet Digital Living" a slightly high-flown claim for what is - currently - a couple of DACs and a 3D Blu-ray + multi-format player?

Ok, in Q1 2012 I suppose "Electrocompaniet Digital Living" will mean multi-room and wireless/networked/streaming products, but only years after every other company (including a raft of other high-end hi-fi companies) have got there before them.

Hardly Earth shaking stuff.

I haven't auditioned any Electrocompaniet yet, not all stores have their complete line-up :type: Some reviewers seems to find a little extra in their products, albeit not all.

I've always enjoyed hearing their products - usually amps and CDs. Slightly dark and rich, like plain chocolate not milk! Could be imagining it because of the styling, of course!

In fact, for reasons I'm unsure of, products from the likes of Primare, Copland and Electrocompaniet have often 'worked' for me. Not sure if geography has an influence, as I've recently liked German speakers, such as Elac.

It may have been a long time coming but I bet the Electrocompaniet digital living equipment will have been worth the wait going by my experience of their other products .:)
