I was looking for that too.

I can't imagine Rega have embargoed news on the RP8 because it's all 'out there' already (Naim forum etc.) including photos.

Just a thought here Chebby. Perhaps there was a Dealer/House rules conflict again ?. I thought at first that yourself and CJ had come to fisticuffs as i left the desktop at that point,lol.

I don't think a non-abusive exchange of opinions over Rega's RP6 colour options would have merited pulling the thread.

Dealers here promote themselves to the hilt (and diss other dealers) with impunity (ok maybe not impunity but an occasional "stop it guys" at worst) so I really don't know.

Perhaps something bad happened overnight.

True point but i only got as far as your post regs the various plinth colours. Looked for thread and vamoosh !.

Edit. Yip im with you regarding Dealers. Maybe one of the team will let on,discreetly,what happened.
