:? My amplifier has a measurement of 8ohms....0.67db. What does this actually mean, is this a poor/fair/good reading ?

not sure. My amplifier has a measurement of 444x64 mm, I think that's distinctly average.

My, my… that’s a big one! My one is only 439mm… Now I feel totally inadequate? However its height is 138mm, so is there any truth about thickness being better?

In my case, flippant reply = haven't a clue. :?

Normally the 8 Ohms figure is accompanied by what Watts it can drive into this. If this doubles into 4 Ohms, then your amp has good current.

My amp only mentions DBs in association with "signal to noise ratio" and "frequency response," but as to what's a good reading, that's anybody's guess......sorry. :(

Hi fats2828

What is the make and model of your Amp? At the moment I haven't a clue - 0.67dB is not a lot!

cheers

Crossie
