Dual Speaker Cables

Looking for the best of both worlds. I like my home theater system but it lacs in the HiFi department. Bought a CXA 81 but it does not have a by-pass. nor does the HT amp have the connections needed that an article on here had suggested. My question is can you use some splitters on the speakers and sub and run two different cables to the two different amps only using the amp of choice when watching a movie or listening to music?

Not splitters. Switches would do it, but it's not a good idea.

Why would you buy a amp without the features you need....when you know the feature you needed 🤔
