Double blind testing for HDMI cables?

I use a quality HDMI cable but not the most expensive but below mid price point.Chord cable. Given that a cheaper and more espensive lead can get a five star rating, surely a 'doubleblind test' is the only way to sort them out and eliminate the confusion over quality of preference form a 'panel'. What is stopping me from buying a more expensive cable is as of yet I am not convinced a £100 cable is so muchbetter than a £5 'Thats cable' and given all things being more less or equal on the shielding lead casing without been OTT.

I have a distinct feeling that the quality of the HDMI leads will not correlate with prices in a double blind test of end users or reviewers. But it ought to be done.
