Dolby TrueHD

Currently running Sky HD with 5.1 surround sound set up but about to buy Panny 35 Blu Ray player. Can't use this for HD sound as my amp won't take it.......so wondering just how much difference is there between Dolby Digital and Dolby TrueHD sound on BD's??

Is it worth me upgrading my amp?

Answer to question 1 is yes, well worth it.

Answer to Q2 is that you don't need to - just buy a player with onboard decoding, and connect via multichannel analogue out on the player to m'chann analogue in on the Sony.

I know I can use the Sony amp via the multi channel inputs but the Panny is the only player which will fit in my current rack! It would mean spending another £200+ on a new rack whereas I can channel the same cash in to upgrading my amp which seems like the best route to take.
