Dolby Atmos

I have the Pioneer bdp-lx58 and the Denon x2200w, have been trying to watch Everest in 3D with Atmos, but all I am getting is Dolby surround, can anybody please advise on what I am doing wrong

What's your setup and speaker configuration? How many speakers have you got?

Pioneer bluray set to bitstream, Denon amp speakers are 7.1 including Onkyo Atmos upfiring speakers sitting on top of Tannoy hts201 front towers, hope this is what you were asking for

By 7.1, do you mean 5.1.2 or 7.1.2? I mean do you have 7 or 9 speakers in total, including the Atmos modules? Did you run Audyssey setup?

Excuse the error, its 5.1.2, and yes did run the audyssey set up, with the .2 configured as front Atmos

That's strange. What does it say on the Denon's display? Also, make sure the sound is defaulted to Atmos in the blu ray disc.

Been scratching my head on this one, the Pioneer has 2 outputs, which I have been using as 1 for 4k tv and 1 for Denon amp, but have been using dual setting on audio out on pioneer which seemed to be working ok, but have now switched to seperate on audio out that as finally done the trick,and amp showing on front panel as Dolby Atmos, relief.
