Hi guys, looking to buy a home cinema package for the family home and have settled on the Sony BDV-E370 as the best option (though i'm open to suggestions) and this has cropped up a few questions. The setup will be a Panasonic TX-L32X15B TV plus the home cinema system, a Humax PVR and an XBOX 360. I noticed that the Sony system only has one connection which is used to connect to the tv, audio from any other device is transmitted through this connection via ARC (audio return channel?) from the tv to the surround sound. I understand ARC is limited to 2.1 (i think) so i plan to connect my xbox audio via the optical in on the Sony system. I was just wondering if the Pana TV is ARC compatible, if not will i be able to use the RCA out on the TV with the sony system? I'm worried the tv will only output sound when on certain AV channels or something similar and the HUMAX will be limited to the TV's speakers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
