Freeview is a UK only service via rooftop aerial. Freesat has a wider audience due to the fact that it is broadcast via satellite and can be received across a lot of europe as well as the UK, you are a bit far away to receive the services in India.
I quick search on the internet suggests that similar services are available in Bangalore for local / national Indian channels, some free, some via subscription. It also looks like the Indian digital tv services use the same standard as in the UK, DVB-T and DVB-S which means that you may be able to buy receivers from the UK.
