DM37 HEADPHONE USERS?

Hi! Any here? I'm looking for headphones to go with my system and would appreciate any suggestions/reccomendations from people who've bought headphones to go with their Denon. I bought some virtually unused and boxed Sennheiser HD465's for what I thought was a bargain £20 from someone I know in the pub but they are absolutely AWFUL! (I know, try before you buy!) I will have to make a 50 mile round trip to actually audition these so any pointers would be greatly appreciated (oh, budget less than 3 figures please!) Thanks guys.

Thanks for responding to my previous questions regarding my dm37

I had some sennheiser heaphones which sounded very tinny and sharp with my previous hi-fi and would also like to know what would be a good pair of headphones

I have been to shops but not been able to try any on due to health and safety reasons, where can you try different headphones
