i feel dissapointed that there are no reviews of sony tv's, hx range and others apart from their bottom end ex range at the moment. whenever you go into a sony store thay are always oblivious of backlighting issues and i wonder if because of well documented issues that they are trying to sell as many products as possible before any reviews are made ?? lets face it, their tv campaign at the moment is big with the world cup approaching but what other products, cars, phones etc launch without reviews readily available at the same time. come on sony, stand by your products and get them to these reviewers and face the music, whatever it may be

Believe you me, we've been busting a gut to get review samples of the new 2010 Sony TVs, but with little luck so far. We're as frustrated by this as you are.

thats poor on sony's part. maybe your backlighting issues raised have upset them !! still for such a major player that is bad pr for us consumers. maybe we can assume that there new edge lit tv's have issues as i have read in another forum ?? surely as the number i review site you should be in line for there first product review. anyone from a sony store want to comment or are you to busy shipping products to unsuspecting punters ??

I'm sure Sony will provide its TV sets for review by June. My intuition

World Cup intuition by any chance?

I would imagine also, that even when the team get any samples, there will be lots of people, just waiting to accuse bias towards the brand on any favourable reviews.

What tosh, Sony has their problems at times (but who does not), but they also produce some incredible equptment. Still air towards the plasma technology myself.

I must admit that I am looking forward to any new reviews on Sony TV's.

a lot of the products have not been officually released yet so wouldnt it be pointless having a great reviwew with no product yet

I find it quite strange thats sonys 2010 tvs are due end June/Mid july.

By the time they are delivered to your home the world cup will be over. Annoying.

I think you may find quite a few manufacturers struggle to deliver their 2010 sets in time for the World Cup, especially those fitted with Freeview HD tuners.

The spec for Freeview HD was only finalised at the end of last year, which left manufacturers with relatively little time to design, manufacture and ship sets with the new tuners. Some of the early TV sets we've received have arrived without the Freeview HD tuner fitted.

Well we've been selling Freeview HD sets for some weeks now.

The EX403, EX503, EX703, HX703, NX503 and NX703 are all readily available. The EX503 and HX703 ranges are proving to be our best sellers.

It is the 3D ready HX803, and HX903 sets and the full 3D Signature LX903 sets that won't be released until June.
