Does anyone have any useful/amusing stories of how to hide your audio equipment to make it more attractive for the general non-enthusiast public? I have just purchased a wharfedale sw250 from ebay for a bargain £110 - but how do i disguise this 42cm high black box?

I am considering sticking a plant pot on top of it, but i doubt that or making it into a coffee table will enhance its sonic abilities!

Cheers!

I have had a cabinet made to hold my gear. It allows it to blend in with the general decor. The big problem is speakers. They stand out like a sore thumb. That's why I have IQ 5's - I'd have got 7's if I had been allowed or even 9's.

yeah a cabinet makes sense - but what on earth do you do with a sub the size of a small child. i thought maybe having a chair obscuring it from view may work, but then people may walk into it and do some damage. To themselves of course not the sub, as it weighs more than some of my friends
