I think there are many who would consider that both cruel and defeating of the object of having them. Me included.

It’s because they’re probably looking for a chance that their human owners could keep them distant by making them aware of it. There is a theory that low-level exposure to germs and pathogens is actually good for the immune system, so having pets and spending a lot of time outdoors can be a plus, health-wise. I rarely get colds etc, have never had the flu, never caught COVID etc.

Absolutely, much better to let kids get dirty whilst they're growing-up, than spraying them with disinfectant all the time or, whatever it is cleaning product manufacturers want us to do.

If you care about your pets so much, you won't let them in the house, you shouldn't have pets...

Reminds me of a review on Amazon. Guy raved about how well a toilet brush performed, really great, etc. but with one caveat, it hurts too much so he went back to using toilet paper.
