Difinitive humming

When recieving no signal the sub of my Pro 80 sub sat package make an audible humming noise. I've disconnected it from the ampbut it's the same... any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried turning the volume down on the sub?

mains hum - it needs grounding...

Also, check your sub cable is properly connected.

I have this same Sub, when you say disconected from the amp, have unplug the cable from the amp end or the sub end.
