Dialogue Distortion on Blu Ray Transformers

Hello again!

Has anyone noticed crackles in the dialogue towards the end of the movie:

1. Mikaela telling Sam she's glad she got into the car with him

2. Secretary of State's speech (Jon Voight) whilst Decepticons were being dumped into the sea

There are also times when I could hardly make out the dialogue (not limited to Transformers) - turning up the centre speaker volume doesn't help because it's fine when the scenes aren't busy

B&W 684s, 686s and HTM61 + Onkyo TX SR876

I'm wondering if this is due to the Onkyo because I have found a few US Onkyo owners reporting the same problem.

Any help would be much appreciated - time to change the Amp? (it's only 4 months old!!!)

I have the same amp and the dialogue is crystal clear throughout. Try unpluggiing from the mains for ten minutes and run the Audyssey set up again. Also check the speaker connections for the centre channel on the back of the speaker and the amp.

Nope, no crackling to report here, if anything the sound is crystal clear throughtout.
