denon1910 manual,seetings,connection help needed

hi got this amp in oct and still cant navigate the menu due to the terrible manual as i dont have a degree in cryptography. so here i am desperatley seeking help my questions are;

*1. has any one decyphered a manual to english and made it available on line.

*2. can i by amp my front speakers and run front high in 7.1

*3 when i got the amp and an lg bd370 blu-ray the sales man said the best way to connect was hdmi only yet the lg manual states hdmi and coaxial for pcm, so what method should i choose.

I can't answer Q2 without consulting the manual but my first thoughts are no but I would have to check.

You will simply need HDMI from the Bluray player for both audio and video. There is no need for a separate digital audio cable.

Answer to Q2 is no, as there are only seven channels of amplification built-in. To do what you're suggesting would need nine.

hi Andrew thanks for that, my idea now is to go for 7.1 high fronts rather than bi-amp the 916i floorstanders is this the best way to go.
