Hi guys. I have a Denon DRM-710 tapedeck. Obviously pretty vintage, but a great bit of kit and in top condition. Just wondering what I should do with it. Is there a market for these things?
Thanks, Charlie

Well, I have had it since the 90s. In its original box for the vast majority of that time, but I used it quite a lot for a few years.
What is the difference between the two then?
Thanks.

I have a Denon cassette deck too, I still use it on occasion and for what it is, it sounds pretty good. With cr02 it sounds fantastic.
if you have space Then give it a go. If not, you’ll probably get £40-£50 on eBay as long as it’s fully functional.

Semantics.....
All the better for clarification...... 🙂
And no, in the part of the world I come from a device that uses a thin tape housed in a plastic enclosure is a cassette deck. Tape decks are the likes of Akai reel to reels.
The very first computer I operated carried information on tape but it wasn't called a tape deck....

Destinct lack of response from the OP.
sincerely hope we haven't scarred him off.
the marketability of said device will only become apparent when attempts to sell it.....
now if it had been a Nakamichi Dragon...... 🙂
