Denon PMA250SE speaker help!!

Hi I'm having a bit of a dilemma about some floor standing speakers and my Denon PMA 250se amp. I have come across some Tannoy Revolution R3 floor standing speakers on gumtree for about £140. I'm always looking for something new to add and wondered if these would be a good edition. Any thoughts of advice would be great. Thank you!!

One more thing that I should add is that kiln dried sand has been added to these speakers, does this greatly affect the sound?
