Hi,i have a similar set up to you same TV,Denon 1920 and a Denon 1906 amp,no blu-ray player but i did have a Tosh EP35 HD-DVD player. In my opinon the difference in picture was minnimal but noticable and even though i output my DVD in 720p the HD player deffo looked cleaner and more solid at 1080p (i know it dosen't fit the Panas screen resolution as well as 720p).. But I must say that the difference in audio was MASSIVE!! dolby Tru-HD output via PCM and through the multi-channel outputs to MY Denon reciver is REALLY JAW DROPPING!!!,

You connect it via the 5 multi-channel inputs on your amp (the ones originaly designed for SACD and DVDA) and set the amp function knob to EXT IN also theres a section in your manual entitled "connecting external imputs" or something similar. In addition to this you need a player that has an on board decoder for the HD Audio formats and can output it as PCM via 5 multi-channel outputs.(see my other post) Even though my HD-DVD player could do this i think it could be a few months untill there's a capable Blu-ray player available, although im not 100% sure..Does anyone else know??
