denon dvd-2500bt vs pioneer lx71a

as both are profile 1.1 players which player produces best picture and sound the denon is more expensive one would expect the denon to be that little bit better or would the pioneer be a better allround buy?picture quailty and sound are priority.

i have no exprance with the pioneer but the denon is very good and worth the money. the only thing is with the denon it is a transport only and relays on your amp to do the d/a convertion so i depends what amp you are using. some thing like the denon avr2808 or txsr876 would be a good match
