Bit of a long shot but - is there any UK based forum member who find themselves with a spare stylus guard for a Denon DL103 cart?

Mine seems to have "disappeared" and despite the protestations to the contrary, I strongly suspect it must have fallen to the floor and was binned as just a random bit of plastic by my dear wife.

I reached out to Denon and then to their distributors/parts supplier to see if I could purchase one. Despite the cartridge being still in production ,it is apparently not available to order from the manufacturer...

Thanks!

Hi, if your TT has cover and you use it, than using stylus guard at home has not a big sense. I use them just during transport of TT with cartridge or cartridge itself. BR.

Ah yeah, I don't really put the guard back on when mounted/ ready to play, but I have 4 carts on rotation and I always like to put it back on before swapping and when placing in the holder...

OK Sir, understood. How do you like this cart in comparison with other cartridge "family" members in your collection?

It's really good! I bought to have something different from the AT33PTG2 which is my main, and expecting a trade off in detail for more bass and "slam" but there's not that much of a trade off. Certainly it's not a soft cartridge.

I tend to gravitate back to the AT but they are very close. It is a great cart for boogie-factor. In fact I tend to use it with hard rock, funk and similar.
