Thinking of buying denon 37 for my son, just seen dixons are doing it for about £245 with discount code, just wanted to know if the speakers it comes with are any good (sc-m37) i think there called.
I'm getting one of these without speakers. Richer sounds VIP club members (you can join on their website) are offered the Denon for £179.95, normally £219, without speakers. Put this with a Pair of Tannoy Custom F1 (dark colour version) on amazon for £75 and it'll be a great system. I've asked the speaker question before and there are a few options but at this price the tannoy's it seem a good choice.

Yes, the speakers are excellent, as is the rest of the system, which is why we made it our 2008 Product of the Year. Full review here, with a link at the bottom to our video review too on the Awards microsite. Given that we reviewed it at £300, anything less is a great deal.
Thanks, i joined richer sounds vip last week, do i just go in the shop with the card, or is it done online. dixins deal was for silver unit i think, i want black so i think its richer sounds.
just watched the video on the 37 andy ,seems to be just what he"s after. I was going to get him a cheap amp and speakers with ipod dock , most of hi"s music is from ipod but now he will be able to play cd as well.Result
I'm writing from Croatia and I just bought Denon m37 DAB without original speakers.I've heard them and they are excellent, but i wondered if I should upgrade to Monitor Audio Br1 or Mordaunt Short 902i. I saw the review of Mordaunt, but I can't find any review of MA BR1 so i'dont know if it is worth to pay extra money for them because as I sad Denons originals really are great!
I don't wan't big speakers so what are you suggesting? MA BR1, Mordaunt Short 902i or stay with original Denon sc 37?
I've got the M37 Paired with a pair of Mordaunt Short 902i's they are a stunning set of speakers, good looking and with a superb sound, just enough bass, not too much, vocals are brilliant.. i'm very happy with the setup and would recommend the 902i's!!!
I have the Monitor Audio BR1s with my D-M37DAB and I am really pleased with the system.
I bought the system over the Internet so didn't have a chance to listen to it with different speaker pairings. I think it is fair to say that the Denon will sound really good with any decent speakers. I have yet to hear someone say they are unhappy with their set up.
Don't forget to budget for speaker stands and speaker cable. The WHFSV recommendation of Soundstyle Z2s and Chord Company Carnival SilverScreen have worked well for me.
