hi everyone , iam new to the home cinema amps stuff but iwas looking to buy this denon model avr 3300w,my problem is that i have a stereo amp cambridge cx60 and the pioneer n-50a streamer, using monitor audio bx2 speakers, and iwish to keep using these as my stereo system, is there a way to wire my speakers to both the amps. . iam going to add surround and centre speaker to my system. cheers

Use the Pre-Outs for front left and right on the back of the 3300 and use a half decent RCA interconnect pair to hook them up to one of the inputs on the back of your amp.

Then run the setup program on your Denon and use the "amp assign" settings to assign an external amplifier to your front left and right channels.

Once you've finished running the equalisation program on the reviewer at your normal listening volume, you're good to go.

I don't know your amp, it might have an AV direct setting so that it passes through the signal from the receiver, changing volume automatically. Otherwise you may need to adjust the amp volume as well as the receiver's, but that's about it.

We have similar equipment. Mine is CXA 80 and 2300w and, contrary to popular (misguided?) opinion I use an auto switch which works very well. Pair of Q Acoustic 3050s available to both amps seamlessly and with no detriment.
