Denon AVR-1910 owners/WHF team

Hi all,

I'm looking to get the AVR-1910 amp/receiver.

Can anyone confirm if this unit supports Viera Link, ie controlling Pana TV volume, video switching and standby on and off features?

Certain comments on the forum seem to suggest that it does but I can't find confirmation anywhere.

off subject but do you use the front hight speakers in pro logic IIz mode.

Hi,

I'm afraid I don't have it yet.

Having a Pana TV, same as you, I'm trying to find out if this amp works with Viera Link. It has CEC on HDMI so in theory it could do it.

Lets hope some 1910 users can help us out.

thanks,I have posted a similar question with no replies,I have my onkyo 606 in my cabinet at the moment but i have to keep one door open to controll sound and other things.
I may get a 1910 just so i could use the uper front speaker as i cannot put 7.1 rears because of postioning of sette.

I have a 1910 and it doesn't seem to work with Viera Link, accessed through the TV it only recognises the Blu-Ray player.

I didn't buy it for this though, I bought it because of the review.

I think Viera Link is for Panasonic brand only.

Just a quick update for anyone looking to use an AVR1910 with a Pana TV, it DOES support Viera Link (CEC) so Pana remote, (or V+ remote in my case), will control amp Volume and other basics via the TV.

Just needs HDMI Control turned on in amp menu.

Makes life a bit easier.
