Denon AVR 1910, help needed pls.

Just wonder if the HDMI output on this amp will allow 1080i (ie Blu-ray) signal pass through? (the internal up conversion only go up to 1080p)

Hi Thaiman, if I understand your question properly then yes it will allow 1080i when playing your bluray. However, for upscaling of DVD's the best is 1080p. Kind Rgds, Jan.

Isnt 1080p (Progressive scan) meant to be better than 1080i (interlacing) - or am I missing something?
