First time posted so please advise on above. I have a PS3 along with a Sony KDL 32-W4000 and looking for amp and speakers to give best results. First choice was the above Sony amp along with Kef KHT1005.2 speakers. Now i am probably not alone at the moment but getting this amp is almost impossible due to current stock levels in UK.

After further investigation i looked at the Denon AVR1909 with the same speakers as this unit seemed to tick all the boxes. I phoned a supplier who then informed me the Onkyo amp would be better suited to the speakers as this unit was better suited due to the speakers being 6ohm ????

Should i wait for the Sony to come back in stock or go for one of the other amps mentioned(or if anyone can suggest an other alternative)

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

Steve

What speaker package would be best suited to the Sony? Small Sized room so nothing too big.

Thanks

Simon.

Personally I can recommend the Denon 1909 as a fantastic reciever, great build quality and sound. Should be perfect with the Kef eggs.

Andrew Everard:I'd go for the Sony, myself - in stock (apparently) here.

Andrew, any chance you or one of your team can ask Sony UK when they are expecting to ship some more of these. It appears that almost no-one has the DA2400ES in black in stock or knows when they'll get some more.
