I would like to know too!!!

Both the Denon 2310 & the Yamaha RX-V1065 have had positive reviews. Between them, the opinion was split with regards to which one is better performance wise, although in WHF group test, the Denon emerged the winner. I agree with other posters. The lowest price I could find online for the Denon 2310 was £629. Who's offering it to you for £580 brand new?

Also, definitely demo both of them yourself as they sound very different to one another. Your listening preferences may be different from the responses you get here.

My apologies.. the amps are on ebay and not a retailer.

There were 2 sellers on ebay who are offering a variety of amps and other home cinema items. Now there is only one seller with any items left. He is selling the amp for £600 as a buy it now with and i made him an offer of £560+£30 postage

The seller whom I am buying from has a low feedback of 16, but these have all been from selling amps (including denon 3310) and speakers of around the £700 mark, and the people he has sold to are all have reasonable feedback. i.e. hasn't just created several accounts to get his main account going, at least it doesn't look like it.

And for me the most important thing for me is that i can pick the item up from hitchin in hertfordshire.

However there is a downside for the denon is that there is only a 30 day (return for full refund as stated in the auction) offered by the user and no warranty by denon which is one year i believe.

But I'm trying to find out if by using my credit card and paying via paypal if my credit card will offer some form of warranty.

I will be picking it up over the next few days and if anybody is interested I will post here about how it went, especially if it is some sort of scam.

bigboss is right. You can now pick it up from Richer Sounds for £629...provided they have stock!

I would not touch that with a 10 foot pole.

I would spend the extra 80.00 anyday and get the full warranty and peace of mind.

the one on there at the moment has 11 months warranty remaining and is £599 or best offer. plus its collection only which is good.

Warranty is only valid for the first user, from what I understand, So if I sell my pioneer the warranty would not transfer.

But I could be wrong.
