Denon 1910 and banana plugs

I have just opened my new 1910 gone to connect the speaker cable which has banana plugs and the amp doesnt seem to take banana plugs and I have just spent money getting all my new QED silver anniversary XT banana plugged at one end, have i wasted my money ?

The binding post's on the 1910 will have bungs inserted in them.You need to remove/prise the bungs out with either a small flat-blade screwdriver or needle nose pliers etc, in order to insert your banana plugs.
