Dedicated Tannoy sub in all Tannoy 5.1 H/T system?

Any benefit to an all Tannoy Saturn 5.1 system by using a Tannoy sub as opposed to the HSU one I am currently using? You know, that "synergy" effect 🙂

I have the impression that synergy matters less when it comes to subwoofers coordinating with satellite speakers, but I hope that a dealer can respond more authoritatively. What are the costs of your present sub and whichever Tannoy sub which you want to buy?

Got in touch with Tannoy there in the U.K. and he didn't feel there would be enough of a difference to warrant a change. Glad to hear that he didn't think HSU was a bad sub 🙂
