Any Dali fans out there?!

We have just become dealers in both Epicon and Rubicon series.

Do any of you own or have you owned Dali in the past?

Would like to know your thoughts.

David is quiet right, the tweeter technology has been derived from the Epicon series. I heard the Epicon and Rubicon 2s on the Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista 800 in store.

Rubicoon 2s are superb value for money, they have the signature Dali sound but don't share the same weight through the bottom end or finesse in the higher frequencies. This is obviously due to component quality.

This is why we've taken both ranges as they do not compete against each other.

Thanks

Dave

Hi David,

How would you say they are different? I have had the pleasure of listening to the Helicons but not the Epicons, really looking forward to that.

Cheers,

They've certainly come a long way since the Helicoons.... :)

I got to hear the Epicon 2's in the what hi-fi test room last year. The sound stage depth was something else - seemed to go about six feet back and the bass about six inches from your face. Very, very nice sounding. Crazy amounts of detail coming too in voices.

The folks from Dali were all very nice too (and not just saying that becuase of the freebies).

Also heard the Zensor 5.1 set that won the what hi-fi award last year at a different event. Nice clean sound.

The Epicons at £3.7k were well outside of my price range but very interested in the Rubicon.

The Epicons and Rubicons have a much faster sound to them than I remember with the Helicons, with more immediacy and dynamic capability. But they manage to do this without sounding lean or removing all feeling from the end result.

Hi Gel,

Not sure how much i can say about it on here but yes we do.

It's advertised on our site I believe :)

I've been listening to the Dali Epicon 2 for the past day or so as we're running them in. I have to say they do give an extraordinary depth of bass for a standmount!

Hi, I have contacted you in the past about Pioneer TVs, you just had the old 43inch model from a doctor secondhand, so unfortunately couldn't do a deal. I follow you on eBay too. I like your shop. Cheers.

Potentially 'dangerous' search conducted there! :D

Kuros are brilliant, but very power hungry......make sure you don't want to get a modern (non Plasma) TV that runs on a handful of Watts.

Is this the new classified section, or is it the taking advantage of a lack of MODS of the forums these days thread?
