I have a Project Debut3 turntable that I play through my Denon AVR home cinema amp via a PROJECT PHONO BOX Mk2.

I play CDs through my Sony DVD player and Denon amp.

If I was to go for something like the Superfi offer NAD C542 CD & C352CT AMP & EPOS M5 SPEAKERS £779.95 .................... would the Project Phono Box pre-amp be........

1. Redundant?

2. An enhancement if left in line between Turntable & NAD Amp?

3. DANGEROUS

DAMAGING if used as in 2. ?

Also, is the Superfi offer a good combination and would I notice a huge difference from my current cobbled together set up?

Separating components usually improves overall sound due to less interaction. So for this reason I would keep using the project phono with no worries about damage.

That amp doesn't have a phono input and you will need one to hear your TT play records

hi mate i have the nad 3352 amp and its great but yes it has no phono stage so you will need your phono box,, but its no worry as it will sound better with a seperate phono box...

and yes mate the nad set up will blow your current system away...its one of the best sub £500 amp around
