Just wondering which filters Dacmagic uses prefer. Does one particular one stand out from the rest. Which one has the least effect on the sound (minimum processing).

'Linear' is the one with no processing. I have found that some filters sound slightly better with certain types of music, but tbh I'm too lazy to get up and change it all the time.

I dont bother with the filters,I am not sure they are even working as I can not detect an ounce of difference,they allsound as good as each other. I leave it on linear anyway,maybee I haven't got golden ears or my system isnt revealing enough.
