Dac to significantly upgrade MF X-RAY v8 cd player

Hi

Wondering new Dac can upgrade cdp MF x ray v8 and also be used to upgrade dab radio and apple tv etc,but firstly upgrade of cdp most important.

Budget upto £500,but what is also least amount to get worth while/significant improvement in sound quality.

Or my amp is approx ten years of age design wise-Arcam A85,would funds be better used toward new amp.

I like a lot of 60s,70s,80s Rock-pop,folk,blues,jazz,Acoustic guitar singer/song writer,Indian classical/contemp-modern,Pink floyd,Django reinhardt/grappelli,miles Davis ,Beatles,radio head,bob Marley ,massive attack etc you get my drift.

Speakers are recent acquired KEF reference series model 104 aB.

Your thoughts on upgrade path will hopefully be appreciated

IMO.No chance.

in fact significantly and any price.

Get any decent DAC you like for £100-£500 and upgrade your fruity TV and DAB, but don't expect much extra from your CD player.

Many, including myself, who have had FAAAAAAAAAAAAR more expensive dacs say it's the dogs wot sits!
