Cyrus X Power vs Mono X

Hi anyone had experiance with these combo's..

Which offers the best sound?

1) 2 of X Power, both in mono mode linked to a pre-amp

2) 2 of Mono X

reason for the question is initial cost/outlay, I could an X Power and Biamp it (stereo), then add another one at a later date when finances allow and use them in Mono mode.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.. I am using Quad 12l2s (bi-wireable) I am looking to change these at a later date. (my budget would be 500-1500) what do you recommend I listen to all sorts..
