I have these variants to amplify AKG K612 ( wich are said picky to amplifier and dac ; 120 ohm) What do you think ? Or some other choices?

The Epiphany O2 is measured as transparent and is therefore as good as it gets regarding audible sound quality. The Creek/MF combination might be as well, but is rather a lot more money.

I have an O2 DAC/amp and am very pleased with it and wouldn't hesitate it to reccomend to anyone. It's very good value for money. As Overdose has said it has exceptionally low distortion figures which are on a par with the best headphone amps costing thousands of pounds and will sound as good as the best available.

The build quality isn't the best that I've seen though. There's nothing actually wrong with the build but it doesn't feel quite as solid as some of the more expensive amps that I've seen.

Indeed, the price of the epiphany alone can be lower than the combination wich is important especially because I haven't found yet a V90 on sale or auction , only the 21se.

The bulk could also be a problem (WAF ). So , what about the dragonfly1.2 as an alternative? Can it compete with the Epiphany ?

It is possible to be an equal in terms of sound quality, but cannot be better. Transparent means just just, you cannot get more transparent.
