creek evo - the best of british ?

Would anyone say that Creek is worth a punt ? I mean especially the Creek evo cd/ amp combo and not the version 2 but the original

I rarely see it reviewed but keep bumping into threads which are very positive

have not heard the creek but know from reading comments that they are very good ... did come across an interesting shootout/group test CA Azur 740A with the Creek, advance acostic and the Pioneer A-A9 ... the Pioneer was the winner and was rated slightly better than the creek ...

The best of British? not imo. Creek do made some classic amps that no doubt but there are other Bitish companies that are as good or better.
