Connection problem on i pod touch.

I have 2 i pod touches , one for my daughter and one for my son, my daughters picks up our wi fi network fine but my sons, who's i pod is set up the same wont , just says unable to connect to network ,

anyone one got any ideas why this is please ?

Hi, have you tried switching off the working Ipod and then trying to make a fresh connection with the other? might be an ip conflict.

Chris, are the ipods trying to connect simulataneously + your PC? Note that your modem/router might have a default limit on the number of simultaneous wifi connections. Check your settings.

First off I would try to upgrade the router firmware and upgrade to latest iOS. Failing that I would try to see if I could connect with a different encryption technique wep/wpa. Also make sure that your IP settings are set to DHCP. Of course I am not ruling out a dodgy iPod, and if you live anywhere near an Apple Store, then their staff will sort you out regardless of where you bought your iPod.
