connecting speakers

Hi i have just bought a pair of Tannoy revolution DC6T speakers but am having trouble connecting my speaker cable.Its chord carnival silver screen fitted with bannana plugs.the terminal on the speakers is in a recess with the hole right at the back so i cant get the plugs in.Any advice

If there's nothing in the instructions about how to use the banana plugs you'll have to cut them off and use bare wire.

Sounds like your trying to fit the bananas in where the bare speaker cable would go.

You need to push the banana pins into the speaker sockets straight in the back of them horizontally.

Are there bungs in the back of the terminals which need removing before using the plugs?

I would recommend bare speaker wires, or fork connectors.
