Hi All,
I have an Audiolab Omnia all in one streamer/dac/amp etc connected to some Kef LS50 metas,
I've also been using a SVS Micro3000 sub just to fill out the bottom end a bit.
This was connected by 2 low level inputs on the sub fed from the pre out on the Omnia.
My problem is, I've just bought a stereo power amp which will take up the outputs being used by the sub.
The sub doesn't high level inputs and the Omnia hasn't got a dedicated sub out.
Is there a way to split the pre-outs without compromising the sound quality.?
I've been all over the internet without finding an answer to this.
Thanks in advance

Perhaps sell the sub and get one with hi level inputs?

I'm beginning to think that may be the answer.
I only bought it a few months ago just to help the Kefs a little but adding the power amp seems to have done a better job filling out the bottom end and then more.
Oh well, we live and learn.

It will cost you £3.02 to find out:
Lol, Looking at that I wouldn't waste my 3 quid.
Seriously, would a better quality version of that work?
Audioquest do one but I'm not convinced.

Why not? Fwiw, we use these Y splitters with JL Audio (the worlds best and the Formula 1 of subwoofers btw) and their subs such as the Fathom f212 v2 @ £7499 and the Gotham g213 v2 @ £18699. Bottom line is if these Y splitters are good enough for a sub such as a Gotham g213 v2 then I think it’s perfectly fair to say that these Y splitters will also be more than good enough for your SVS subwoofer.

Thanks for that, I wasn't trying to be flippant, just surprised at the price compared to what I paid for the interconnects!
To be honest, despite hours of searching the web I hadn't actually found anybody that has said it's ok to just split the pre amp output.
Thanks.

I know what your saying.
Cheers.

For peace of mind, go for those fully screened ones that @SR-91 has linked to.
There will be no risk of harm by paralleling the pre outs.
You will be altering impedances seen by all - so there is the (theoretical) chance of altering sound.....but you will be able to judge whether you've compromised it.

If in doubt, don't do it.

I'll order some screened ones and see what happens.🤪
Thanks for your help folks, I'll report back when it's up and running.👍
