I've got a new telly and now I want to buy a home cinema system. I don't have a fortune to spend and I'm getting confused by all the different inputs. What I do know is that I want it to be HDMI compatible and to be able to reproduce HD sound as I've got a PS3.

I've had a look around and quite liked the look of the Yamaha AV63. This comes with the speaker set as well although I'm not sure it's totally compatible with what I'm looking for.

Any advice or guidance as where I should be looking

 Thanks

Well the Yam' you mention is cheap as hell so its not going to be mind blowing quality. I also dont think it does hi def' sound but if your looking at things THAT cheap I woudnt worry about hi def' sound anyways. So id say the Yam' will be fine for now. It does full 1080P down the hdmi so thats fine. But personally (if you decided to buy it) id connect the hdmi straight to the tv and use a digital connection on the amp to play the 5.1 dolby or dts soundtracks (assuming it has them?)
