compact 5.1 speaker system to go with my Sony STRA2400es amp

Hi,

I'm after some suggestions for a compact 5.1 speaker system to go with my Sony STRA2400es AV amp .

I was thinking of the Boston XS se System or the Tannoy HTS101,my max budget is £500.

If anyone has any opinions as to which would suit my amp the best or suggestions for any alternatives please let me know.

If you can stretch just a little further you'll be able to get the Q Acoustics 2000i package

Good idea ,but my budget is limited to £500 max ideally less ,also i'm under strict instructions for the speakers to be as small as possible so I don't think I,d get the Q Acoustics past the "Boss".

KEF 'Eggs' would seem to be a good choice at £500 and are fairly diddy

Thanks for the replies Guys.

I had Kef KHT2005.2 before ,they were ok with the sony amp but they sounded better with a Denon amp i had previously.The eggs were also silver and I need black speakers now and to be honest I fancy something different.

I must admit I have been thinking about the Q7000 and I am tempted or I just might take the cheap option and go for the Boston Acoustics XS ,which are going for £220 on Richer Sounds Website.
