What spare section?If i have some area of the disc thats not being used I want to use it to store recorded programmes, not adverts.If I want adverts I'll watch ITV.

I would hope if Sky are going to insist on me watching adverts for their services they will be bringing the price down of the HD box I am using.

140GB of the 300GB harddrive's fitted to Sky+HD STB's is allocated to "Sky Anytime"!!!!
And 80GB of the 160GB harddrive's fitted to Sky+ STB's is allocated to "Sky Anytime"!

Indeed - ads will be served from the section of the box Sky already downloads content to, Your own storage capacity for programmes will be unaffected.

Also, these don't appear to be 'extra' ads Sky is planning - just in place of the ads already in programmes/in between movie showings.

You know, the ones you always fast-forward through
