i think these types of emails from companies i.e every now and then are fair considering amazon email you 5 times a day every day by comparison.

they inform you of new products that might not be right for you now but maybe next time or may be good for someone you know. takes a second to press delete if its not for you

Zackly. But no tattoos though.

Pioneer amp for 17 years; Arcams for 13...; Leemas for 7.5 years. See the pattern?

I think I a see a potential (though rather tenuous) pattern emerging. You kept your Arcam for 4 years less than your Pioneer, so if you keep your Leema for 4 years less than your Arcam then that means I'll be knocking on your door waving my wallet in a year and a half.

Loved the Pioneer so much kept it for so long (knobs and switches were literally falling off)

Arcams for 13-14 years -- time for a change.

Leemas for 7.5 years. Double that and I might think about selling (assuming I'm still around). Eek!
