Coldplay mx

Is it me pr do the vocals on coldplay mx sound like they have been compressed to the quality of the lowest mp3 ?? Metalic sounding far too much middle - everything elase sound rich and full

Do you own the CD? If so, why don't you rip it to iTunes and then check the album's waveform for compression using Audacity, which is a free download - clikety 🙂

It is the cd. Surely if I did that this would only show the frequencies of the entire track - it's only the vocals which sound strange
