co-axial or interconnect

I am buying a new cd player for my av receiver (denon 3805) and was wondering which is the better audio cable interconnect or coaxial. Sorry if this is a daft question but i am only just started to take audio seriously.

Then the DAC will be better in the Apollo (or certainly should be) and you should use stereo interconnects.

Though (IMO) the Denon will probably not get the best out of the Apollo either way - are you sure you need to spend as much if the amp can't show it in it's best light? I am yet to be convinced of the 'source first' theory.

I am replacing my denon later this year with either the pioneer LX70/ Onkyo 875 or another which may make a difference
