Hi Guys, As I am fully aware that cleaning your cables will bring added benifit to your system and my Van Den Hul RCA interconnect is very old and doesnt look all nice and shiny at the RCA ends anymore. (The reason I know that they should be nice and shiny is that one end of the RCA cable still is and he other 3 look old and dirty).

What is the best solution to clean RCA cables? I would only like Hifi suggestions and not Kitchen applicance suggestions please 😛

I am sure there is a liquid you can buy but cannot remember much about it. Has anyone had/done any cable cleaning lately?

Ps. I tried to upload my System Setup Pictures Yesterday - is there no way to upload pictures from my Hard Drive to the website? Thanks

Oxidation on contact areas in plugs/connections increases the electrical impedance of what is being transmitted down the line.

Ensuring that good contact is maintained does improve performance.
Every 6 mths I do remove oxidisation on Mains plugs, speaker connections, keeping everything in tip top condition.
