Clare,

I posted a note on another Pioneer thread about the problems my parents had had with their 42inch plasma and you told me to get back in touch with them. I am pleased to say following an email to them the looked at my case history and responded by telephone less than 24hrs later. An engineer is coming to see the TV. The gentleman from Pioneer (Barry) was very nice and I am hoping the problem can be resolved.

I will keep you posted.

Yes. I think it's good to know what manufacturers will do what and how their after sales service is.
