I've the Cambridge Audio CXN100. As Amazon Music (which I subscribe to) isn't one of it's built in apps I need to stream that via Chromecast, but compared to other services on the CXN100 (eg, radio channels) it's output is comparatively very quiet.
This is a real pain as now when I change the output channel on my amp, ie 1 for cd player, 2 for streamer, the difference in volume is huge and I need to adjust when switching between the both.
I've recently tried a 30 day free trial of Tidal and have no issues with that and the volume is comparable to my other sources, so I have to conclude it's a Chromecast problem. I've checked Chromecast settings and it appears it's set at 100% but it's so quiet through the CXN100.
Before I dump Amazon and sign up to Tidal (or Qobuz who I can also try with a 30 day trial), am I missing something and is there anything I can do to boost Chromecast volume.
Anyone else experienced quiet volume with Chromecast?
Thanks
