Chord Odyssey 2 question

Postman delivered my chord odyssey 2 just about 10 minutes ago.

Now that I've opened it, I was suprised as I was expecting a cable that had a twisted configuration, but mine does not have this. Just want to know from others if I really got what I ordered...

First pic is what I expected (notice the twisted look to the ends). Second pic is what I actually got.

Hi mate - I just bought some of this cable (I don't have it with me) but I don't think mine is twisted either... I will check when i get home.

*EDIT* I just looked on the chord website and clicked on chord odyssey 2 and it brought a close up of the twisted cable pictured and written on the banana plugs is chord odyssey 4. It looks like it could be a bit misleading in that the cable pictured is infact chord odyssey 4 in a 4 into 2 configuration? Just a guess....

My Chord Odyssey 2 looks exactly the same as yours mate (not twisted).

Make sure you plug it in the right direction

i have the odyssey cable but mine dosnt have the caps on the ends as show in the picture.

i payed for bannana plugs to be fitted but the end of the cables are just trimmed back to expose the two speaker wires and plugs is this right or should i have them.

the banana plugs that came on mine look like in the picture.

I checked mine too. Its not twisted either.

Yep Odyssey 4 will have 2x twisted pair, while Odyssey 2 have normal ones.

mine was like the second pic too, i.e not twisted, so peace of mind jax

sorry i dont mean the actual pluggs but the red and black caps that are on the ends of the cable.mine is just cut back with the two wires going to the bannana plugs coming staight out.
